Have You Experienced Problems with Planning or Resource Consents?
In recent months, the Whanganui District Residents and Ratepayers Association (WRRA) has received reports from members of the public about difficulties when dealing with the Whanganui District Council's Planning and Resource Consents teams.
The concerns raised include:
Delays in processing applications without a clear explanation.
Site visits that applicants felt were unnecessarily confrontational.
Requests for information or assistance that were not responded to.
Has a neibouring development affected your property
At this stage, these are reports only. We do not know whether they represent isolated incidents or indicate a wider pattern.
